Why forage?
My aim is to give everyone the skills and confidence to safely identified, pick and use delicious edibles plants, flowers, fruit and mushrooms. All you need is plenty of enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail when identifying wild food ingredients.
Courses
Guided foraging walks are led by Jane at various locations in and around Hitchin. Jane will teach you how to forage safely and legally and identify both edible and poisonous plants as they appear on route. Jane will discuss numerous recipe ideas and how to incorporate wild ingredients into your everyday cooking. Wild refreshments and tasters will be provided at this event.
Private guided walks can also be organised on request further afield.
